Monique is Electrifying

Hey, I guess it's better that kids see Monique teaching them to spell - despite this video's high rating on my Cringe Scale - than see Miley dancing around a pole, or another blonde "Starlet" discussing her battle with drink.

All the Single Zombies...

Monique definitely wins the award for Most Original and Creative Halloween Costume! Who would've thought of dressing up as a Beyonce - Zombie? Genius. She said her costume was “‘Single Ladies’ meets ‘Thriller.’” I would've added some more eye-make up for the 'Thriller' element of it, but even without that it was awesome!

Monique Coleman at 'Eye Legacy'

I'm so happy to see Monique at a high profile event - she doesn't get nearly enough publicity. Looks like Monique is still putting herself out there to play Left-Eye. I'd like to see her in a drama...she has a lot of potential.

I like Zac- I really, like Zac, but there are only so many times one person can say 'It's a blast.' before I start rolling my eyes. When you listen to so many interviews where the same answers are given, they all start to seem identical and that's why it was so refreshing to hear Monique speak and give a different perspective.
I found it quite interesting when they asked about the comparison of HSM to Grease and she said that where as Grease was about conforming, HSM is about being your own person; because I'd never thought of Sandy 'conforming' but when I thought about it, she does change who is and as a result gets the guy.
She was also asked if she was dating, but said she prefers to keep it to herself; in code, that usually means 'Yes,'...hmmm, who was the person she was with at Zac's party? Could he be the mystery man??



And I agree...she definitely should've won!

It Could Go Either Way...

There is a VERY fine line between romantic and cheesy, and my hope for hsm3 is that ,although it may come very close to crossing that line, it doesn't lose itself in the cheese.'Is that a yes?' Troy asks Gabriella in one of the scenes, 'In every language...' she replies...If only they had left it there...but no. Disney had to go and have her recite 'yes' in other languages! Why would you do that!? The perfect example of a line that could've been romantic but was taken WAY too far.

I feel like I've been waiting for this movie forever and now it's just a few days away and I really hope I'm not going to cringe throughout the entire movie.

It wouldn't be the first time the final chapter to a film was completely ruined...The Godfather 3 anyone?
