Hardly a Cullen

What's with that guy in Vampire Diaries? You know who I mean, the "evil" brother...Damon (which sounds very close to Damien if you ask me, but that would have been too obvious). I'm new into the series - just watched the first episode a few nights ago - so perhaps he will grow on me...buuut I doubt it. It's a fact I find quite pathetic, but let's face it: It's Twilight under a different name. I could have over-looked that - only because the acting wasn't too bad and it did make me jump a few times. But by the time that annoyingly-smug and arrogant brother appeared...I don't know. Those script writers are asking too much of me.
